Big Yo to darlings of 2a2!

The MYE is just over and results are all out. For all who have not done well, or have not lived up to your expectations, do mug your guts off during the June holidays. It is always never too late to start when you realized how much more you could have achieved.

I was greatly disappointed over the class's EL results for MYE. Everything that I have taught you guys went down the drain! Could not believe my eyes when people whom I've expected to pass with flying colors did not. I wonder was it my fault or have my lessons all fallen on deaf ears?

I hope 2A2 will push on as a class and show not only me but other teachers the HUGE amount of potential you have. You all have such endearing personalities, so don't let the academic results pull you down.

Today, 25 April 2008, our class did not showed respect to the English subject teacher, Ms. Chan. During the English lesson period, we did not complete the assignment which teacher gave us on Wednesday. However, Ms. Chan gave us a chance to copy out and completed the assignment. Hmmm NEWater is nice to drink and it can be drink only at national day.....i though the NEWater is not so nice because of dalston keep saiding the water taste like shit but when i drink is quite nice like plain old water....no wonder at national day i saw all the water gone....i hope we could go there again and the water is safe drink

Fazliana : i had a wonderful trip to the NEWater centre . i had experiece how water was being clean to get the new water . there are many ways that they had to clean it to let the SINGAPOREANS to drink . although the water was not 100% clean it and it taste a little weird but it was still fresh . SINGAPORE was trying to have our own water then we take water supply from MALAYSIA . with this creation of doing our own water we may save some of it . so don't waste your water . use it when u can use . drink it when u can drink . DON'T WASTE ..

Aishah : it was fun trip .. i love being ther . it was so much fun and our class had fun there . but dinking newater i think is the better way . thge place was a very pleasent place . by doing this SINGAPORE can save many as much water other than we get the MALASIA supplies . don't waste the water guys !!

hi i am amirul and i am gonna share my experience at the new water factory.At the factory we can know how new water is created and how it gets purified.it takes only 3 steps to purify the water and after the purification cycle it will be safe to drink the water,but too bad the water taste was bluek!i think we should support the new water scheme just in case there are lack of water supplies and we don't need to count on other countries to get water.new water rocks!!!!

Last week, 2a2 & 2a1 student had went to visit the NEWater Plant.

Why should we trust NEWater? Is it safe for consumption?
We should trusted NEWater it's bacause NEWater is the water we used has undergone stringent purification and treatment process using advanced dual-membrane (microfiltration and reverse osmosis) and ultraviolet technologies. Instead of borrowing water from Malaysia, our country, Singapore using NEWater which is the recycle water. This also bring us lots of benefits.

The NEWater trip was a education and also fun trip.....I trust NEWater as they it had shown me the process of clearing the germs and bacteria.......it takes only H2O....The instructor told us that it is pure water.....Other country also said that NEWater is a good recycle process of water and its clean....Experts says that they will built a NEWater plan at their own country...

I have learn more about the new water. I think we should trust NEWater as they have go though 3 main processes.From my opioin we can consumption as the water is pure.we can use these water so that we do not need to buy from malaysia as cost a lot of money. The water factor have go though a lot of steps so that the singaporen can drink. we must be indipendent so in future we do not need to worry.we buy water from malaysia and i do not agree with this that we should continue . I think its very good that soon will be getting to use singaporean water.Do not use so much water.Must trust and support NEWater so that our future will be safe and do not neet to scared when the malaysia water run out.

Hello there guys...The visit was so awesome...Never think that the teachers can plan this...Well lets get down to the point...We should try to trust NEWater because it is safe to drink..And some people just cannot trust it because they thought that the water is a toilet use water....They say that all the colour of urine will not be going to this factory but other factory....So guys don't you worry.....Arguement: I think that the water is alright to drink,but some people just could not swallow...It is reuse but still it is clean...The water is not contaminated and it will not lead you guys a stomachache....The bacteria is all kept away by some kind of machine....And only the water molecules will enter so that the water will became clean back....So long guys....Muackss....Love you all....

hiii.... i am darius ko we last tuesday went to NEWater visitor center to learn how the water can reuse and drink it...... we all get a FREE bottle of the newater bottle to drink,the most memorable moment is when we were at the glass panel where the teacher and student do the catwalk and i manage to take all teacher and student picture we then get to know how the newwater was being process and how we could safe to drink the water and we could save money better than give money to malaysia..........................................

i have go to the new water centre to see how the new water created
and there is a beautiful place too...
its shown us how the water is created and the center is opened on 2003
its also tell us how many cups of water we drink every day in whole singapore.
and so water is presious...

i think the new water is save to be drink because they have wash the water
many time and they show us how to be wash to make the water become clean
they have shown that they use a machine to make the water clear and that
only the water particle could only qo in instead of the bacteria and the dirty thing
so the new water is a very clean and save to be drink.

the new water could help us if there is a emergency that malaysia could not
give us water or the world have no water to drink and then we can depend
on the new water to support us it is very clean and we can depend on it
if we never start saving water now we will have no more in the future.
it had also shown us how they kept the water clean and they even showed
us that the water is save to drink.

i went to the new water plant last tuesday....!
i have a great time over there...
i learn a lot of thing about water..
i know why should we use new water plant instead of buying from malaysia..
it is because the water we use in our house which peopls donlt like to drink was been transport to the new water plants.over there they will convert into clean water..then we can drink it again....
like that we can recycle alot of water a save a lot of money...

I have leant how the NEWater is been made. The 4 National Taps of Singapore are Imported water , Local Catchmen water , Desulineted water and NEWater. The 4 existing NEWater plants in Singapore are located in Kranji , Seletar , Bedok and Ulu Pandan. The fifth and largest plant will be situated in Tuas. The 3 countries that have been adopting water re-use since the 1980s are USA , Germany and England. They have go throught 3 main processes to make sure that the water have no more bactia. NEWater is the place where they help to clean the waste water to clean water. So it is clean to drink NEWater and it is healthy for your body.

I hope all of you took some time to read through your friends' posts and 'relive' the experience at Sungei Buloh?

I had a tremendous fun time at Sungei Buloh with everyone. I realized how unique each one of you are, and how adorable you rascals can be outside our classroom - be it swatting mosquitoes on our way back , going "shhhhhh" whenever you all spot an animal, trying to avoid a spider 10m up a tree etc...

Even you boys. Persistently asking me non-relevant questions, scaring off other tourists with bangla songs, eating tidbits non-stop, asking me when are we reaching the checkpoint EVERY 30 secs..

of course, nothing can compare to our champion flyer, BFF duo & the one who scared off the monitor lizard. You are da man dude!

U all brought plenty of laughter to me & that is why i want to share it in the video especially for the class.

Looking forward to more field trips with my lovely 2A2, indefinitely.

I had alot of fun there by watching animals unknowm to me. Since i love nature i enjoyed being there around the refreshing air.During the meditation i did not meditate at all. I was just looking around and enjoy myself there, the funny thing was my classmate afiq did alot of funny things which make me laugh.I think that the school should organise this type of field trip in order for students to learn.

1: I find the learning journey at Sungei Buloh was fun and exciting.

2: One unforgettable moment is when us girls have to do a meditating stuff and we have to be quiet and all but Ms Lee kept showing us the fishes and all.So the person who told us to meditate said to told Ms Lee to be quiet and Ms Lee was like embarrased.I never imagined that a teacher got scolded by a teacher.It was hilarious.

3: To let us know about the nature more and let us learn about it with more exciting view and all.

its enjoyable during this field trip to sungei buloh..we can develop our mind through this trip..however, one funny things that i could not forget is that while we are going to captured a picture of a monitor lizard, our dear friend, kamsani, chase it away and including himself..we had a great laughter because of him..its great for me to make power during our meditation activity..even during that activity, we get to captured many of our friends picture..ut the most embarrasing things is that, i am doing meditate and after a few seconds, i smell a farted perfume which is great..having a nature like sungei buloh is agreeable because we could learn how animal lives and what is harmful to them..so goodbye n we are a player from zul team..we are WEST HAM PLYER..BYE2 SEE YA..
